I apologize for not being able to update more frequently. Amber is away at work and school most of the time so I don't get to play on the computer as much as I used to.
The new place is interesting. There is a lot more room in here for me to run but less chances for me to bounce off things. Oh well.
I'm still addicted to yogurt covered raisins. And dust baths, of course.
Speaking of dust baths, I have to take one.

We finally have internet restored so I can update about the new place. There is another dog here, although this one doesn't seem as interested in eating me, just looking. The room for me to hop around is much bigger. But Amber has gotten much busier: she left me alone for nearly four days while she went to visit her mom and then she left me alone all weekend too. I think she knows how unhappy I am with her since I won't even take treats from her hand right now. I just snub her and run to the corner of my cage. One day she'll learn.
But the new place is nice, so that's good. I have to go; it's bath time.

My new "wheel" came today. Only, it's not really a wheel. It's a big round cymbal looking thing.
It's going to take me awhile to get the hang of this.

If I had a calendar, I could tell you exactly how many days I have been without an exercise wheel, but even without a calendar, I know that IT HAS BEEN TOO LONG AND I NEED A WHEEL NOW!
Now that I got that out of the way, I got to explore a new room tonight. I got to destroy the bathroom! It was great! There isn't as much to get into in there and it isn't as big, but I knocked everything over that I could reach. I also found the toilet paper dispenser! That was fun! I grabbed ahold of the toilet paper and pulled and pulled and unravelled a lot of it. Then I chewed holes in as many sheets of paper as I could.
And then I got a dust bath.
If only I could get that wheel, life would be perfect.

My exercise wheel has been rigged. It does not spin any more, and I can't figure out why. I know Amber did something to it, but I can't figure out what. I tried to look under the wheel and there's nothing there. There's nothing on the top of it either. :Sigh: She promised she has a new wheel on the way, but that it will take a few days for it to get here. I need to exercise!

Amber is trying to deceive me. She gave me a regular yogurt drop treat instead of my usual yogurt covered raisin treat. The nerve!!!

I think there is another rodent in the room. I cannot see the cage and I do not know what kind of rodent. But I was out to play earlier and I heard the gnawing teeth of another animal eating - and it sounded like it does when I eat. I got scared that I couldn't find the source, so I forfeited playtime early and went back into my cage.
I am so confused.

The puppy chewed up that obnoxious yellow run-about ball and Amber was so mad. I was elated - I would have to be let out to run free. But then, tonight, Amber came home with a new ball - a purple one. Dammit.
Everything I have in this cage is purple. I don't even get to give my consent - she just buys me purple everything. What if I wanted a teal litter pan... or a pink ball... or a YELLOW bath house?! It's a conspiracy.
